Incompatible archive PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

Trying to upgrade through wordpress and I get this error. Anyone else seen this?

OSX 10.6.8/10.7.3 WP 2.8.x/2.9.x/3.x Atahualpa 3.5.x/3.7.x Safari 5.x Firefox 11 XP

I just downloaded it to my computer (OSX 10.5.6) and it unzipped fine.
