[SOLVED] z-index and Internet Explorer

Hi,

i use atahualpa 3.5.3 and wordpress 3.0.4

my site is www.ponzaracconta.it

as you look, in IE the left categories's submenu goes under the content slider. I know that is an IE z-index bug but i'm going crazy to find a solution. Help please.

Dropdown menu and smooth slider have payment support and i don't have money to spend.

This question is not theme related and would require installing the plugins in question and doing some testing which would take away from time to answer theme questions. I just checked the Smooth Slider forum page and it looks like the donations are optional and you could give as little or much as you want if you choose to give at all. They are still going to be the best options for you.

Resolved!

You need to give higher z-index to the parent element for this IE z-index bug to disappear.

i.e. In theme's CSS file add the below line:

div.shailan-dropdown-menu ul{
z-index:9999;
}
