Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

The theme can display custom post type archives with post title and excerpt for each post. The Problem is that the theme tries to display blog-post-categories and blog-post-tags for each custom post type in the archive view - even if the custom post type does not have blog-post-categories/tags as taxonomy.

How could I make the theme to render the custom taxonomies of the custom post type for each post in the archive.

I want to show Categories in [url="http://careersnews.ie/dictionary/"]this area

dig thru the code, learn how it works, then code something that will solve your problem, test it to make sure it doesn't cause any other problems and then you are good to go.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately as I am not a programmer there is nothing I can do about this issue.

Hello
I am still trying to improve the display of one page produced by the archive template.
Currently the page shows the post items in alphabetical order which is fine.
I want to be able to put some fixed text at the top of this page - how can I do that.
The page is here http://careersnews.ie/dictionary/

There is no Atahualpa theme option to allow you to do that. You could (a) look for a plugin (b) hard code the text in the theme file with an if statement so it wuould only show on that page (c) possibly create a page and use the 'multi-column/custom query' template which has an option to display the text above the posts.
