Display current taxonomy

I'm using custom taxonomies and I'd like to display the current taxonomy for a post. Essentially, I'd like to use something like "%tags-linked('before', 'delimiter', 'after')% " in the Post Info Items, but for taxonomies instead of tags.

In addition, I'd like to display the current taxonomy on an archive page that lists all of the posts for that taxonomy name.

I don't have the ability to add any custom php to the multi-user site that is hosting.

If there is currently no way to implement these, then it would be great to see these features in the future.
