i can't use "pre" blocks. all newlines are removed. This worked fine in version atahualpa.3.6.4.zip. i don't have other versions of the package so those are not tested.

Do you have the bugfix's applied?

This patch and the fast response has been responsible for choosing to donate for support --- I use only sporadically my blog, but I think that the developers deserves it for their really nice work.
