[SOLVED] submit button border ignored in Chrome, accepted in IE8

Chrome ignores this:

background-color: #369;
border: 1px #006 !important;
}

but IE8 likes it fine. Any ideas?

It does not matter if one of the values above are missing (although, border-style is required), as long as the rest are in the specified order.
