Until recently, I was using Atuahualpa 3.5.3, without any problem.
Since a few days, my blog was having problems to load, that couldn't be solved by deactivating every plugin, and removing every javascript-widget.

I went back to 3.5.1, and the loading-problem disappeared, but then I noticed there have been several new releases since 3.5.3.
OK... trying out the latest one. I have desactivated it within minutes, since in the very narrow right inner sidebar were showing up 'categorie'-links, that don't belong there.
I don't know were the content comes from, since in the widget-section, there isn't anything in that inner sidebar (i use it just for having 'space' between my the center column and the right sidebar.)

I haven't noticed other issues yet, but this one was enough to deactivate the theme.
I also tried 3.6.1, but again, categories within that 80 px wide side-bar, and I want that to be empty...

Is there a solution?

That is just a right inner sidebar that is turned on by default to show capabilities. You can just turn it off in ATO>Style & configure Sidebars.

That's not what I am looking for. I just asked how I can make that sidebar existing, but empty.

I am using Atahualpa for a long time now, so I know I can turn off the right inner side bar in the Atahualpa settings, but as I wrote: I DO WANT to have a narrow right inner sidebar, but it should be empty.
On my blog it shows the list of categories, although the right inner sidebar doesn't contain any widget when I look at the widgets settings.

(My blog is on http://annetanne.be - I'm using 3.5.3 now - because of this problem with the new release - but you can see I have a 'larger than normal' right margin for my blogpost, which is the (invisible because empty) right inner sidebar.

just add an empty text widget to the sidebar
