I'm having trouble with the order of my posts. They are in alphabetical order (not time order) but the special icelandic characters (á, ð, é, í, ó, ú, þ, æ, ö) are not in the right place. The icelandic alphabet looks like this:

How can I order my posts in icelandic alphabetical order?

I'm using Wordpress 3.0.1 and Atahualpa 3.4.9. I use the Custom Post Order plugin (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/custom-post-order) to order post in alphabetical order but as I said it is not perfect.

Try switching to the default theme. If the problem still occurs, you will have to contact the author of the plugin.

I solved the problem by changing the charset to icelandic in the mySql database.
