I'm trying to design my site to look more like a website instead of a blog. When I make a new post it appears on the home page, is there a way to not have it appear here and only on the category page?

WordPress>Settings>Reading. Set front page to static.

I've set my page to a static page, but a snipet of the latest post still appears at the bottom of my home page. Also what I would like to do is create another page and have all of my posts appear on this page.

Also I've created a new page (right now called test) but I can't figure out how to posts my posts to this page...

In WordPress>Settings>Reading did you set the test page as the "Post Page"? Do you have a link to the site so we can see what is showing up on the home page?

It looks like you have a post as the front page and not a page. Are your setting in WordPress>Settings>Reading like indicated in this screencast?

I think I've followed your instructions and created a new home page (which for now I'm calling Front Page and have also created a new post page (which for now I'm calling Blog Page). Problem is now how do I get side bar widget on my Front Page?

Make sure they are turned on for the home page in ATO>Style & Configure Sidebars
