I know how to cause the logo to be centered by editing a PHP file. But is there a setting in the ttheme control panel that will do this?

There is no single theme option for this. But it could be accomplished by removing the header search box and all RSS buttons via the theme options, then center the blog title or logo with CSS in the theme options or with a CSS Insert (A. Theme Options -> HTML/CSS Inserts -> CSS Inserts)

What could I edit and how in STYLE.CSS to center the logo?

Quote:
/*-------------------- LOGO AREA --------------------------*/

table#logoarea,
table#logoarea tr,
table#logoarea td {
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
background: none;
border: 0;
}

table#logoarea {
width: 100%;
max-width: 100%;
/* more ... */
}

/*-------------------- LOGO -------------------------------*/

.logo {
display: block;
/* more ... */
}

td.logoarea-logo {
width: 1%;
}
I have inserted " align: center; " in the above Logo Area and Logo but that has no effect. Likewise, no joy after editing header.php to insert the same instruction as:

Quote:
table#logoarea {
align: center;
border-spacing: 0px;
<?php echo $bfa_ata_logoarea_style; ?>
}

.logo {
align: center;
<?php echo $bfa_ata_logo_style; ?>
}
Suggestions on what to edit will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Add a CSS Insert
HTML Code:
td.logoarea-title {
text-align: center;
}

Here's a fix i've used:

You can move the logo over by adjusting the margins - see below. Play around with the figure until it looks centered when you view your site. Not as precise as a center tag but it works. My theme is set to fluid width with max of 1250px. looks o/k in my browser but haven't checked in other browsers or resolutions.

To change the margin go to Atahualpa Theme Options/Style & edit HEADER AREA/Logo Image:Styling and change the last figure from 0 to the number of px you want to move it to the right. Add the px after the number.

Hello,
I was able to center an image logo in IE using...

HTML Code:
td.logoarea-logo {
text-align: center;
}
...however the logo image doesn't center in Firefox and Chrome. Do I need to use something other than text-align?

Thank you,
Will

You can try this in ATO>Add HTML/CSS Inserts>CSS Inserts. Just change the width to the actual width of your logo image or it will resize it.
HTML Code:
td.logoarea-logo img {width:200px;margin-left:auto;margin-right:auto;}
