There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

Future of Montezuma

Hi all,

I would like to have an answer to my concerns about the future of Montezuma. I am a happy user without any complaints and could use Montezuma forever. But the world rolls on, WP develops, Web standards, fashions and Google algorithms change. There are big hanges in WP coming such as Project Gutenberg.

My question: Is Montezoma actively developed (I see the last patch is from 2016) anymore? Will it be updated to face the changes in the next WP versions?

Any idea where to go from here if Montezuma is dead?

Cheers, Ralf

No, Montezuma is no longer being developed - mainly due to changes the WP theme reviewers dictated a couple years ago - i.e. the customizer.

Nope.
