I just updated to 3.7.12 because I wanted to have a center widget.
The update went fine, and I created a center widget, and inserted a shortcode in the
widget.
It will not process the shortcode; it simply displays the text of the shortcode.
This is strange because I did the identical thing thing on relatd website, and the shortcode works fine.
I've done the obvious, from clearing the cache, and deactivated common plugins, and such, and still the result never changes. I have reset all settings, and started form scratch, to no avail.
I've noticed that, once created, the center widget area remains, even if I clear the widget code in the theme set-up area. The only way to get rid of the widget area is to reset the entire theme.
I think I'm missing something simple, but, I sure am at a loss...
Anyone have any hints ?

It's from a plugin "Ads by Datafeedr". I use it on another Atahualpa theme website, and it works fine>
The theme is displaying weird behavior. For example, if I create a center widget, and then remove the code from the set-up, the widget remains in the Widget area. At the moment, I have several "center" widgets.
I just tried resetting the whole theme, and it will not reset to the defaults. Usually Atahualpa is pretty solid, but this one is giving me fits. I'm at a point where I'm ready deactivate it, and start from scratch.
I'm at a loss.... I've exhausted my knowledge..

When you want to remove a widget area
1) remove any widgets from the widget area
2) remove the code from the area you placed it
3) visit the front-page of the site
4) go to ago->New widget Area and check the widget area you wish to delete and press the delete button.
So have you created any ad's at datafeedr yet?

I resolved the problem with the Datafeedr plugin; for some reason, the database was corrupt.
I deleted all the entries, and re-entered them, fresh, and it seems to work okay.
My intent was to use the plugin, only, rather than use DataFeedr to create a store.
I'm not too happy with it, and I'm going to try another plugin. It seems to have a problem with differently formatted ads. For instance, it would display an Amazon iframe just fine, but a simple hyperlinked image would not display consistently, etc. Life is too short for me to troubleshoot these kinds of problems.
