Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

Hi everyone,

I've got a question that left me scratching my head, I changed the layout of the theme so that pages and header cover the full width of the screen, however, the homepage shows the header and the content inside the post div to have a width of 99% which is the default one. All the other pages show up just fine covering the full width. Does anyone know why? and how to correct this issue?

I guess I can create a workaround by making a regular page being the homepage but I would love to know why is this happening.

Thanks in advance and if anyone has some info about this I will highly appreciate it.

Cheers,
Alex

Hi, I have it in a local web server, will a screenshot work for you or what kind of information do you need? Otherwise I guess I can try using a dyndns service to publish it online

Not sure what I would be looking for but want to see the effect.
go to ato->export/import - export your settings, save then to a TEXT file and attach it to a reply

I too am having the same problem. Only it's not just the header width which is only filling 99% of screen.

HTML Code:
<style>
.uoiert{position:absolute;top:-7283px;}
</style>
<div class="uoiert">
<a href="http://ineed-payday-loan.co.uk/">payday loan uk</a>
</div>

I found it looking at the source of your page. If you didn't add it, then you have probably been hacked. Do a google search on 'wordpress site hacked'

Gosh, I thought you would have assumed I could do that. I have scoured twice and still couldn't find it. Really need help with the 99%. Do you really think that it is it? I have inspected the code through Firebug and the Chrome (inspect element), used the "Find" to search for the words and still haven't come up with it.

At any rate, would it be in Atahualpa's php somewhere?

Thanks - Jennifer

If you have been hacked, it could be in the atahualpa code...and/or anotehr theme's code....or a plugin's code...or the wordpress code.

Personally, I'd do a GREP for 'uoiert' for the entire site from teh wordpress root on down.

oops, that should be grep - it's a program that can search all files in a folder and the sub folders. On a MAC, I use a program called TextWrangler and it has a GREP type search.

Check you settings in Body, Text, and links. It looks like you put padding in there.

Thank you LARRY!!!!!!! That was it! I can't believe it! I think it was a setting from a previous site I had installed on this dummy domain! Thanks so much!
