I'm just trying to instead of having one picture in the banner area have a few that change every now and then.

The slideshow plugin I use gives a code for inserting into the website instead of posts

Montezuma doesn't seem to use this php and I can't find an equivalent in the Limited PHP. Am I missing something or is it not possible with this plugin?

I don't know what you mean by inserting into website instead of posts but bottom line is if you want to use other than the limited php code you can add a widget area or sidebar as it is called in Montezuma and then use a php aware widget.

This technique should do what you need.
