When a viewer visits site in Safari browser the post image doesn't look right. The image is outside of the container box. How do I fix this?

I tried that patch, however it removes the reason why I chose the theme to begin with. I liked the way users could hover over an image and it would change from black and white to color. Very interactive and catchy. It also looked nice in the set box.

If that is not the right patch, I couldn't find any others so could you advise further?
