I see I can remove inner sidebars from specific pages/posts/categories. However, I cannot figure out how to remove it from a plugin such as BuddyPress or my Business Directory Plugin. Any advice/ideas?

Do you have a link to an example? You might use CSS to not display items like that but without seeing it is impossible to determine.
