I would like to replace the comments field with another commentsplugin, but when I activate the plugin I get 2 commentsfields underneath my postings..
How can I disable, deactivate or remove the standard commentsfield ?
Thanks in advance!

And -here- you'll see both forms

well as I am not going to register on their site, what directions do they give you to install it?
Is it an actual plugin or just some code they tell you to stick some where?

a plugin, just hitting the install-button, activate and it works.
main problem is how to make the standard form invisible.

edit index.php and remove line 41 which is
HTML Code:
<?php bfa_get_comments(); // Load Comments template (on single post pages, and static pages, if set on options page): ?>

I've tried that already.
Both forms will dissapear.
The actual atahualpaform, but also the cackleform.
Is there no other way to make the atahualpaform invisble?

just out of curiosity, does the plugin work if you try it with the twenty-ten theme?

if it is also a problem with twenty-ten, then it is not a theme issue but a problem with the plugin and you need to ask the author what to do.
