Please, do not tell me to uncheck "Allow people to post comments on new articles" because that is evidently for something different. I have it unchecked, and I still get comment boxes on my posts. Atahualpa has been a breeze until now. Footer for single post pages is blank.

What is going on?

URL? Versions? Patches applied? Dashboard-> general -> discussion settings?

I'm using Wordpress 3.2.1 and Atahualpa 3.6.7. No idea what you mean by "patches".
