duplicate titles

This just happened after the recent update: many--not all--of my titles were duplicated.. why?

and then the spaces after & signs and : and so forth, disappeared.

What should I do?

Nota bene: the custom fields are suddenly creating second titles to repeat. Will this be a common occurrence?

I foudn this but was not sure if this is the same problem. In fact, I am not aware as to how or why this happened and my search returned very little aside from this recent posting.

I updated to the latest theme..but it is not helping.

It took me a while to find it...but if was to replace the css.php code in the final lines, I did that.

By the way did the error cause double spaces after periods to be one space? This is another issue I still see. The titles are fixed but the two spaces after final punctuation is no more.

Also, when I update my images are always wiped out from the header. Where can I safely put the images so that when Atajualpa updates it does not wipe out my header images?

Yes I did... I think I did. I think there should be special folder for this because I searched adn as i mentioned in my last posting it involved replacing code from the final lines of css.php--it was this wasn't it?

You don't have to edit css.php. You can just use the replacement files attatched to the bug fixes that are all listed here. There are three of them and they all start with 367
