Got this weird bar to the left of my banner.

I've matched my banner size to my layout size (1000px) but it still remains.

Anybody getting the same problem?

That's a gray border. Try looking in the Layout Container Style box.

Min and Max layout not applcable...

Nothing in there. I even removed the default 'padding: 0;' entry

If you look in firebug, you will see that technically its not a grey bar, but a white bar with 40% transparancy.

I think you have a width set here: Atahualpa > Header area > Header image > Opacity LEFT: Width
I'd try setting the width to zero.

I thought deleting the value was enough...so I had to set it to zero then!
