I'm attempting to set up my first website at www.early1900photos.com. I will sell photos. I want a page that displays photos, maybe 3 across the page, has links to click for pricing and purchase options. I'm using the Atahualpa theme. I have started with the banner area but do not know how to get a gallery or a store layout going. I was suggested to use plugins but not sure how to find the one to satisfy my needs.
I'm eager to hear any suggestions, ideas or comments.

You should do a search for shopping cart or ecommerce on wordpress.org and try some of the free cart plugins. There will be a bit of a learning curve as shopping carts are "interesting". Another option are commercial plugins such as PHPurchase which lets you put a buy now button anywhere on the site. I could go on an on but this is not something anyone can answer definitively for you. It will require some research to see what works for you situation and what you feel comfortable with.
