There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

[SOLVED] Header Image Background Colour

I apologise if this has been asked before. I searched, but if my search wasn't hard enough, sorry! The issue is that I have variable width enabled so it will fit to the user's browser width. However, in most cases the width will be greater than the header image's width, so the background colour can be seen to the left and the right. This in itself is inevitable and not a problem, but I'd like to know how I can change the colour.

See: http://i56.tinypic.com/ja8939.png

Instead of the red you see at the left and right of the banner, I'd like it to be the blue you see at the page navigation at the top.

Thanks!

Look up the 'background' CSS syntax at http://www.w3schools.com/CSS and you will learn how tom combine both the background color and image in the same syntax.

In ATO>Add HTML/CSS Inserts>CSS Inserts put the following.
HTML Code:
div#imagecontainer {
background-color: #28478E !important;
}
You may already have a div#imagecontainer selector there so you can just add the extra line.

Perfect, thank you both. I know I should probably learn CSS; pretty necessary skill for any webmaster, so I think I'll do just that.

Cheers!
