I am trying to install simple press forum, but i'm have trouble creating a custom page temple with no sidebars

So far I have

But I just can't figure out how to get rid of the sidebars, and just include the header and footer. I've tried using idex.php and removing everything but no luck

have you tried specifing the page number in
ATO->Sidebars->LEFT sidebar: Don't display on Pages:
and
ATO->Sidebars->RIGHT sidebar: Don't display on Pages:
