Mine is www.intervenors.ca . I will be very grateful if you could let me know how the color output is on your screen. It looks fine on my screen and I would like to know how it looks at your end.

The color seems alright to me but I would highly recommend getting rid of the scroller and just put a line of text in there. Having to wait for the scroller to scroll along with the difficulty in reading it is annoying to many and not currently best practice.

@ Sober. I love it and the colours look great on my screen. I find the moving background a bit distracting. Could you just use a static version?

Hello again
Based on input from viewers, I've changed most of the colours as well as the animated background. Please visit my experiment at www.intervenors.ca and let me know how it looks at your end. Thanks to everyone in advance.

Here's my 2 most recent. The attorney one is pretty graphics heavy and may load a little slowly depending on your connection. The other is also very recent.
I strip atahualpa completely naked for each site and build everything custom pretty much, including the animations. Would you believe about 90% of these are done with CSS? I really enjoy it.
If anyone likes my work and would like to consult me about a project, I'd love to hear from you.

Hi Frank,
Site looks great! What part of the country are you in? I live in Lower Saxony with my girlfriend, who is German. We are about an hour from Hannover.
Nice to see your work!
Eric

We've used Atahualpa for a couple iterations of our site, but here's the most recent one: http://bestdamnnerdshow.com/
Eventually we'll abandon MyBB and try to integrate bbPress 2.0 into our theme... but that's a huge challenge right now without any documentation for bbPress or any kind of importer!

I have been using Atahualpa for a few years now. I am currently running Wordpress in a Shared Hosting Environment on IIS7. I have learned a few things on this over time that makes the site load quickly - especially return/repeat visits or page views.
I am also using a very similar setup at Swanson Heritage, a project started 4 years ago with my helpful aunt that now catalogs our ancestry to 1656. We have learned a lot about how to trace our roots in Sweden and Finland!
I am using the latest WP and the latest Atahualpa Theme, which made this work easier.
I did however throw out the rotating header images in the theme and am using NextGen for the rotating images above the loop (as a custom widget area). The images are clickable and even have a description of where the pan style images where taken (on Swanson Heritage so far...my task today is to move that data also to Swanson Photo's).
Feedback would be great. Tips also. Please use the Contact Form or respond here.
A mobile view of both sites is also accessible on your mobile device through it's web browser.

Always looking to improve my site, using ATA 3.5.1 and love it. Loaded with 23 running plugins but loads fairly quickly with CloudFlare on Rackspace Cloud server. Using Infinite Scroll for browsers that can see it. Also using Featurific Flash on top of main page. Would consider swapping out for a dual slide-in banner if anyone has a usable suggestion?
Appreciate any suggestions except my choice of background images. Get tired of looking at 'white screens' all day long and think the full-page articles are easy-on-the-eye and help images to stand out.
Love this forum and the support and invite any suggestions or respective criticism (except BG Images).
Thanks to all the creative people here.

I have used Atahualpa for a while now in a couple of projects. The first project was my old blog Susie's Thoughts. Im'n not updating the blog anymore, but it's still up there.
The second site was a project I did at school with a group of students (I'm a teacher). The site is only in Finnish built for a rowan three project. Atahualpa is a really good tool to use in education when the primary goal is not to teach html or css. The site can be found here Pihlajapuu.info.
My third example is a site I built for a EU funded project called ELPiPL (European Language Portfolio on Student’s Journey through Studies into Professional Life). Wee needed a goodlooking site with a lot of functionality up and running in a very short time period. Wordpress and Atahualpa helped us reach our goal in the timeframe given. Site can be found here elpipl.com.
My latets projects are my own and they are still under construction, so any feedback is appreciated. One is a blog about textile and patterns design. The site can be found here: Patterns for me.
The second one is a blog and community I planning where the goal is to help small business owners to find and share knowledge of open source software they can use to develop their businesses. I'm both a teacher and a small business owner and I have a lot of experience in using open source software. The blog can be found here: ossbu.info
I relly like the flexibility of wordpress combined with atahualpa, so big thanks to the developers giving us such an awesome tool!

you might want to make th e images a little smaller (sizewise) the movado.png is 358 KB, and you can see it loading. Try to resample it and get it down to under 100KB
