Well, I've been over every single ATO menu item and can't see where I made that change, if I made that change. Right about now I am doubting my own sanity.

We need an emoticon that adequately expresses the regular forum user as wringing his/her hands, weeping, and pleading for help.

two things are causing the issue in the CSS Inserts
1) the code

is putting a 4px top AND BOTTOM padding and a 6px left and right padding
2) the code

Please do another export of your settings so we can be using the same settings

After looking at your settings I found the main issue was you had nothing in the navigation label for the FAQ tab which was preventing the CSS from working as it didn't see it as a link. I just put # in the field and all started behaving. I then took out the menu styling from CSS Inserts and all is back to normal.

The main thing was the empty navigation label for the FAQ tab. Without that there it was not being affected by the CSS for the menu. I also took out the menu CSS in CSS Inserts.
