[SOLVED] Updated to 3.4.9 but still have 3.4.6 look and feel
 

Hi,

I was able to successfully update to 3.4.9 on my testing/development server, but it seems that unable to on my live/production server because the look and feel are 3.4.6. Both servers are running Wordpress 2.9.2. I have gone through the process several times. I am manually updating becaseu I have ssh2 issues. ANy ideas?

When you say hhe look and feel is the same are you talking about the front end or backend?

there will be no change to the front end when you do a version upgrade because only the theme code is changing not your settings.

in the backend you will see a couple options with the word 'New' next to them

Actually, I figured out a workaround. With my successful installation I exported the settings with the "New Export/Import Settings" option and then imported into the problematic deployment. All other methods of removing option from database refused to work. I meant that the frontend was using the old look and feel, the backend was correctly updated. Thank you.
