Can't adjust Center Column to bring the margins in a bit.

I've been unable to change the Center Column Style. At the moment, the text extends right up to the very edge of the screen. I'd like it to come in about 3/4 inch or so. It doesn't seem to work when I change the default numbers. Nothing happens. Am I adjusting the right place?

Is it possible to set the header and the center column so that the margins are different?

Depending on how you have your configured your site you may have to adjust padding for the posts but it's hard to tell without seeing the site.

check to see if you have an entry

in ATO->Add HTML/CSS Inserts->CSS Inserts and if so remove it.
