Hi everyone. I've tried to fix this on my own and I'm beyond frustrated.

I have a .gif file for my signature on my website. I have a background colour on my website. I have two different .gif files and neither one of them are working.

I have one that has a transparent background but on the website it shows up white against the light purple background.

The second one (and currently on the site) has a background to match the page but there is a white border around it I can't get rid of.

I'd rather use the file with the transparent .gif but that whole thing is showing white on the site.

Can anyone tell me how to fix it?

I'm not an expert, but I always use .png images for a transparent background. If you can, give that a go and see how it works.

You may have to go into ATO>Style Images and get rid of the background color. That can mess up transparent images.
