I'm currently playing around with Yoast Breadcrumbs. And I noticed that it, like other plugins require some additional codes on the theme templates.

I just wanted to ask that if I have several plugins like these that need additional code, do I have to redo everything every time Atahualpa and/or Wordpress updates?

If you have to modify theme or wordpress code, then, yes you will have to make the changes when you update that component

I read Sheperd Jim placed it on index.php while some on bfa_header_config.php
