Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

I recently updated to wp 3 and atahualpa theme to 3.5.3 in a self hosted site.
The problem is, when I try to publish a new post with some categories selected, it marks only the default one and thatīs what it shows in the blog. No matter what I do it still marks only one category. Actaully i changed the default name by (News) Novedades.

After you create the post can you select more categories?

select category

Hi, After I create the post I can select any of those categories, but when I press the publish button it comes again to the default category.
I try to assign also the categories to many posts as a batch but again it overwrites my selection with the default category.

Does this same behavior occur if you use the 2010 theme?

I activate "minimalism 1.0.2 por Christian Genaehr" to test and the problem is still there.

I'm not sure how to advise you. It does seem like a WordPress issue. So maybe back up and "reinstall" WordPress using the auto upgrade feature.

I deleted everything and reinstall WP with Atahualpa again. Now it is working as it should be. Thanks.
