Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

With all the new versions of Atahualpa coming out so quickly, wouldn't it be a good idea to allow downloading of only the most recent? Why let a new visitor here download 3.5.1 or 3.5.2, only to find out they need the bug fixes? It seems to me it would save the moderators a lot of work if the only new download is the most recent, most "perfect" version.

If somebody has some reason to need to grab an older version, point them to the repository of old versions.

Just saying....

problem is that it takes Wordpress some time to put up the new release once it has been passed to them. Flynn puts the latest at http://wordpress.bytesforall.com and the 'New Versions' forum always points there. But I agree, it would be nice to get everyone on the same version.

Right, but at least here in the forums, it's not helpful to have the old version announcements as stickies, thereby trapping some new folks into getting a version that isn't the latest. I didn't look yet, but does the WP repository for Atahualpa have a note from Flynn saying to come to a particular link to get the latest version? Maybe a link called atahulapa-latest.html, which will never change, but will have a list of the versions, newest on top?

That's one of the reasons I created the 'Version change logs' sub forum of the 'New Versions' forums. I've been moving the previous announcements into it.
