I'm not sure what file I need add code for the sidebar

I'm nott an expert with code, but was going to try to add a snippett per the instructions from a plugin I want to use. The instructions are...

I do not see a "sidebar.php" file in the atahualpa folder. Can someone point me to the file I need to add this to?
