Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

I am sure it is a silly question but I can not find the answer in the forum, I am a beginner and I don't want to give up!! Please, give me a link if you know the thread

In ATO > EditPOST-PAGE INFO ITEMS I tryed different configuration (see attachment) and to me the most logic version is to have the FOOTER (Multi Post Pages and Single Post Pages) totally blank... but the info are still there (see attachment) !!

I am using Atahualpa 3.4.6 and WordPress 2.9.2.

Last question, connected to the main one.... how can I avoid the get "Comments are closed." displayed at the end of the post?

I hope someone can help me.... many thanks in advance

so what are you trying to get rid of? And do you want to get rid of it permanantly or for one post or only on a multi post page or only on a category page or only show it on teh home page and no other pages or....

Hi Juggledad,

regarding your question, I am using Atahualpa 3.4.6 and WordPress 2.9.2 and I am interested to remove the area with the following post information: date, tags, category, comments... it's the footer right?

When I say remove, I actually mean not to show those information.

In ATO > EditPOST-PAGE INFO ITEMS I left the the footer option totally blank but they are still displayed (see the attachment in my first post). Perhaps I missed some options in another menu?

I hope I don't need to change the PHP code, I would rather change WP or Atahualpa version if it makes changes easier to manage.

Thanks for your help Juggledad... I've seen many of your usefull post and you are a super resource on this forum.

OK... I solved it in a very simple way: just emptied the FOOTER: Homepage field

I don't know why, but I am glad it works
