Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

By adding enough tweaks to the margins, I can make this work, but I'm hoping there's an easier way to set up post excerpts such that each new post will be formatted like these, with an image aligned to the left:

http://web.me.com/fuzzpodmusic/Site/News/News.html

While you're looking at it, how can I get content (those images and text) to always be on the posts page, above the posts?

Thanks in advance. This is easily the most useful online forum in the world. You guys are the best. Broke now, but I'll be donating more as soon as I get paid for this project(!)

Using:

WordPress 2.9.2
Atahualpa 3.5.1

I'll upgrade if that will make this easier.

I'm trying to make this work with thumbnails, but can I set the size of thumbnails in the css? Ideally, users can make posts with thumbnails that will be automatically sized such that new posts will look like those here:
http://web.me.com/fuzzpodmusic/Site/News/News.html

With particular posts formatted thus:
http://web.me.com/fuzzpodmusic/Site/...Next_Show.html

Thanks!

I'm a little confused, your page shows it is being build with iWeb. This forum is for Atahualpa why do you think we can help you?

Sorry if that was unclear: I'm trying to build that site in wordpress/atahualpa.

The site I'm building is here (I should have posted this too, I see.)

http://www.fuzzpodmusic.dreamhosters.com/news/

It looks all messed up because of the problem described.

I want it to look like this:

http://web.me.com/fuzzpodmusic/Site/News/News.html

I think the client would like to always have a thumbnail that is 221px wide with the title, byline (date), and post exerpt floated alongside. I could wrench everything around in the html to make it look right, but ideally, it will all be in the stylesheet such that each new post can have this format with minimal effort by the user.

Thank you for your patience.
