Im pretty new to wordpress and this theme in particular, so my question may be pretty basic.
What i would like to do is set up my "home" page in a manner that all my posts dont show up there. I have several catagories set up in which i want these posts to go. As of right now they are appearing in both places. At the same time I would like my "home" page to remain constant.
Is this possible with this theme and if so what steps do i need to take to accomplish this??

There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes.
