I've finally figured out how the blog posting and replies work, but each post is showing up on a different page. How do I get them all on the same page? (In 'reading settings,' I have it checked for 10 posts per page.)

at dashboard->settings->reading what do you have set?

Here's what it reads:

Front page displays a static page (select below)

Front page: [Coming May 28!]
Posts page: [ -Select - ]
Blog pages show at most 10 posts
Syndication feeds show the most recent 10 posts
For each article in a feed, show Full text
Encoding for pages and feeds] [UTF-8]

you have selected a static page for your front or landing page, but didn't specify any for your blog page. Create a new page, call it blog and then set 'Posts page:' to that page ie Blog
