Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

I've read the thread here: http://forum.bytesforall.com/showthr...ht=fade+header and it answers 1/2 my question. The other 1/2 is, Would it be possible to split the header into 2-3 separate areas, possibly divs, to achieve different sets of pictures rotating? What I am trying to achieve is a static background in the header, and 3 separate areas that fade in new pictures independent of each other. Kind of like here: http://www.theindependenceschool.org/index.aspx. Notice how the note changes, then the pictures, then the note, then the pictures. So, who's got some advice?

it's probably possible, you would have to rerwrite the java code so it had more that one random variable and array of images. You might have to change the header (though you could probably handle it with the new widget area) so you have more than one container for the images. So all in all I'd say it's doable.

I thought maybe jscript would work using this: http://medienfreunde.com/lab/innerfade/#n4
When I try copying the example code from this site into the header it doesn't seem to work.
It would have been: %bar1 %page-center %bar2 *New Code
I copied the script call to the HTML/CSS inserts area and I copied the jquery.innerfade.js to the wp-includes/js/jquery directory.
Am i missing something or can jscript not be used in the header?

you would probably want to stick the java in the HTML Inserts: Body Bottom
