Page menus

I am trying to enter html code as page title, essentially creating links in the menus.

I enter the following as page title ... <a href="http://www.coolsite.com">Some info goes here</a>
I lose formatting and get weird menu entry where I can access both the page and the link separately.
Other menu entries are unaffected and appear as expected.

Please advise.
