Hello there,

my name is Matteo and I'm writing from Italy.

I'm quite new to Wordpress so please excuse me if my question will be trivial, I decided to post it here after trying the fantastic Atahualpa theme.

As far as I understood this theme, like any other, doesn't cover the "Administration" page, and this is my first doubt, why?

Then, suppose I want to setup a blog where multiple people can start a post, is there a way to do this from the user's homepage (maybe modifying something by theme customization) without entering the "Administration" page itself?

I spent some hours in understanding Wordpress features, but there are many things still obscure to me.

Many thanks for your kind reply,

Matteo

Atahualpa is a THEME, Wordpress is the blogging software.

A theme controls how the page looks, the software controls what happens.

You should take a look at the 'Getting Started with WordPress' setion at http://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page

Many thanks for your reply, the distinction was clear to me, but since I saw that different themes vary not only on appearance but also on functions, I just wanted to know if this kind of thing was possible with Atahualpa.

Reverting my problem, is there an Atahualpa theme for the Administration page, too? I still don't understand why if I setup a blog with a default theme for all users, the appearance of the above page has to be different.

Thanks again, Matteo

if you are talking about the DASHBOARD, that is part of Wordpress and is not controlled by the themes. You can change the color a little under the USER settings
