Is possible to fix specific header images to correspond with particular pages?

Please describe how, in detail.

Is there a down-side to customizing the code to make this work?

My website focuses on rebuilding war-torn communities and making them safe. Each project has a fascinating story to tell, with remarkable images particular to that story. I look forward to your reply.
