I hope this is the right place for this post.

I want to replace the excerpt on the main page with a 'kicker' text - a blurb that will NOT appear on the post page, but only on the main page. Is this possible?

BTW Atahualpa is a great theme (I sprang for 25 bucks).

You can use PHP in the text areas at "Edit Post Page Info Items"

Such as

<?php if ( is_front_page() ) { ?>
.....
<?php } ?>
