Installed both 3.4.1 and 3.4.2 versions with the same problem: your original Atahualpa image banner doesn't stretch full way. There are empty spaces left and right. I guess it would be the same if I upload my banner-photos?

Atahualpa does not resize your photos in any way. Make your photo as wide as the largest screen size you will allow.

Please take a look at the left and right 200px sides of Atahualpa original image. Note that it worked before perfectly. For unknown reasons, now is not stretching, even all data are correct (untouched).
