Color Change Problem

Did you try to add the appropriate CSS for class "firstrow" in ATO -> Add HTML/CSS inserts?

I've tried several variations of this:

That looks like it is part of a plugin. Is it and if so have you checked with the plugin page/readme/author?

That's what I initially thought, but I don't find that color code in any of the plugin's files.

the styling is in the plugin's style.css file

I changed it there and assumed it wasn't right because it didn't work... then later found out it's an issue within the plugin files. No wonder it wasn't working!
