Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

Hi,
I'd like to add the ability for my users to edit a menu system. The menu system would be similar to a File menu. CSS Driven.
Ideally an admin level user could go to the admin page click a category called "Edit Menu" then be presented with some graphical way to edit the menu system.

So.. I've written this editing the files bfa_theme_options.php and bfa_ata_admin.php
The results look like this: http://imagebin.ca/view/eTYh6K8W.html
A sample of the theme page before I edited it looks like this: http://imagebin.ca/view/Wtg1HG.html
After I edited it: http://imagebin.ca/view/IaXIN-SR.html
A sample of the ata_admin.php page before I edited it looks like: http://imagebin.ca/view/KjFz__fO.html
The end result of ata_admin.php is also completed.

However when I click save. It doesn't save. It always defaults to what I have coded in the theme file.
Why is this? Is it that this data is never saved? Does the theme page get loaded in memory for each user every time? Or did I miss something that would save the theme data to the database.
What am I missing?
Thanks!

I took a look through the database, I didn't find anything that I expected to find. For instance if I had changed the color of a link, I would expect to see that new css value in the database somewhere.
Now I'm more confused.
