I created new catagories and now can't delete them.
Also, can't remove or move any catagories out of left or right columns.

I have Atahualpa 3 and I'm VERY new to blogging and setting up blogs.

Anyone know what might be going on and what I can do about it?

What version of WordPress are you using?

Your questions are a bit confusing. Are you talking about options in the Atahualpa theme or on the WordPress dashboard? Please give a bit more description about your problem, like the page you are taliing about.

In WP 2.8, to delete a category, you go to WP Dashboard->Posts->Categories and on the right hand side of the page , seledt the category you want to delete and click the delet option.

I'm having the same problem... to be more specific:

I have one category that I can't delete. On the dashboard, I go to posts/categories. There is no box next to it and so I can't delete it.

if it is the category 'uncagotorized' you can't delete it, that is the default if you don't assign a post to a category -this is a wordpress issue
