Attached is the photoshop mockup of a site i'm working on. I can't figure out how to get the tab in the center to overlap the center column.

I have tried using a negative margin and/or a negative z-index in ATO > Style & edit Center Column and as a custom CSS insert on div#container td#middle, but neither of them are working.

I could really use some suggestions on this. Thanks!

how about splitting the image and having a background for the center area
