I just installed the latest WP and the latest 1.1.9 of this theme but when I post the authors name does not show? I did search this site and found fixes for earlier versions.

Oh thanks, it's not showing on both.

The author has never shown up by default. Did you added in? are you using 'the_author();' in your single.php or the postformat.php?

Oh right I have to put

'the_author();'

in both the single.php and postformat.php

Is this within the cpanel or somewhere in the wordpress login.

Those are virtual templates in the theme options
