Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

[SOLVED] Adding a 'skip to main content' link to improve accessibility

I want to add a 'skip to main content' link at the very top of every page, to allow people using screen readers, etc to bypass menus, etc. I can use one of the menus as an access menu, but I am not sure where to put the anchor so that the link will take users to the start of the main content. Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Thanks. The trouble is that puts the link at the top of the main content. I need the link to be at the very top of the loaded page; i.e. if you switch off all styles, this should be the first thing listed in the file.

oh I thought you wanted to know where to put the anchor. Check out the ato->Add HTML/CSS Inserts options

My mistake! You are right, that is what I wanted to do. Works fine. But also useful to know about the Add HTML/CSS section, so thanks again.
