Here is the error I now get with when I try and access my site:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/content/20/5448120/html/newsite/wp-content/themes/atahualpa/functions.php on line 987

I was trying to remove the bottom footer (sorry). And followed someones directions that were obviously wrong. So instead of seeing my site at www.newsite/krimsonstudio.com - I get the above error.

Do I have to start over?

You need to reinstall the theme. Directions for removing the atahualpa footer are available in the gold forum which is available to members who donate $20 or more.

Reinstall the theme with the host? Will I lose everything?

You won't lose your settings because they are stored in the database and of course you are doing database backups....you are aren't you? If not you better find out how to.
