Hello! I am using Atahualpa 3.5.3, and have suddenly noticed that my page bar appears briefly as the page is loading in IE, then disappears. I have deactivated/reactivated all plugins, removed any code in the Add HTML/CSS inserts section, moved the page bar, etc.. no dice. My site is at whathappensinhutto.com - displays perfectly in Chrome and Mozilla.. just not in IE. Any ideas? Here is what I have in the Add HTML/CSS inserts section:

have you tried disabling ALL plugins to see if tehre is a conflict

Yes, I disabled all plugins and refreshed the page in IE and the same issue occurred.

and what happens if you remove the CSS Inserts?
copy them to a text file and save it. then erase them from the CSS Insert and see what happens.

The same thing happens. The page bar obviously changes format (flat, grey and boring), but still disappears in IE after the page fully loads.

IE Version 9. Is it working for you in IE?

I'm on a mac and the only win machines I have access to are XP machines - have you tried on another machine?

It vanishes after full page load for me in IE9 as well.

• When you deactivated all your plugins did you deactivate them all at the same time?
• Have you made any changes to the theme files?
• What is your IE document type set to in the theme options?

• I did deactivate them all at the same time and nothing changed - should I try doing it one at a time? I was not aware that that would make a difference.

Do you mean 3.7.2? If so why did you only go to that version instead of 3.7.8 or 3.7.9?

No sorry - I updated to Wordpress 3.4.2 a few days ago - have not made any changes to the theme and am running Atahualpa Version 3.5.3.

you are running an old version of Atahualpa it is at 3.7.9 right now.
Do you have all the patches applied for 3.5.3?
Why haven't you upgraded to 3.7.9?

I hadn't updated because on that site I usually just wait for the updated versions to be pushed and do the auto-update, which apparently never happened for some reason (all my other sites are upgraded, so I must have gotten the auto-update push on those).. anyhow, I upgraded and now the site works the same in IE and Chrome.. who knew?
